Holiday Crafts - Gifts for Teachers!

Whether you are a teacher or a parent you know it's the time of year for teacher's gifts!
Here are some great DIY ideas you & your child can make together these coming weeks to give as holiday gifts to their teachers.

Here are some of the Pinterest inspired things I created this summer for my own classroom:

A crayon jar :)

I hot glued a box of crayon around a small jar I bought at Walmart for under $3.
Total cost >$5

put a cute little ribbon around it & wrap it up!

A door sign :)

I use crayons and created my last initial.
I hot glued it into an empty wooden frame (that I painted purple) from Michaels.
Total cost >$5

Ribbon & wrap it up!

Pencil Vase

Use a mason jar (or any other jar) and hot glue a box of pencils around it.
I added a ribbon  and Sunflowers (they are fake but look SOOOO real) i bought at Michaels.
What a fun classroom vase!

Ribbon & wrap it up!

Wordle

One of the sweetest & cheapest ideas of all!
Use Wordle  to create a collage of words that describe your child's teacher & classroom.
Print it out & frame it!

Here is a picture of my crayon jars (yes I made 3 :) )

The lollipop plant is also a winner!
